Description
Trying to teach kids during this pandemic can be difficult. With typical homeschooling, you have a plan or a curriculum that you have probably done a lot of work on. But for the rest of us, this learning at home was thrown on us without a lot of preparation. Teachers and schools are trying to do their best, but no one was prepared for this type of situation. To help families stay on track and keep everyone motivated, I created this printable Crisis-Schooling Planner for families.
This planner includes weekly schedule pages that include:
- Boxes for each weekday
- Weekly reading tracker
- Section for boredom busting ideas
- Family celebration section to work towards
The planner also includes a monthly calendar for tracking long term due dates and projects.
Boredom Busting
In addition to planning sections, the planner also includes completed lists of boredom busting activities and family celebrations for you to use with your weekly plans. Choose a few of the activities and keep the necessary supplies on hand so kids can turn to them when they get bored. The list of family celebrations has lots of fun options that you can add to your weekly plan as a goal for everyone to work towards. There are also blank lists of “I’m Bored” tasks and Family Celebrations for you to add your family’s favorite activities.
This planner can help families to keep their work on track, and provide support for other moments in the week. There is even a list of suggestions for families to keep their sanity while navigating this difficult time.
