This board book pairs the letters of the alphabet with words that are often associated with fairy tales. Each page focuses on a different letter, with a large image of the letter in the corner and a short sentence at the bottom. The large, colorful cartoon illustrations take up most of the page, illustrating the concept defined in the text.

This board book introduces the letters of the alphabet in a very simple way, making it perfect for young kids just learning their letters. Each page features a different letter of the alphabet with large letters (both upper case and lower case) highlighted in colorful patterns, and indented in the page so kids can trace their fingers over them. The simple text includes one word per page starting with the highlighted letter. The accompanying image illustrates the concept on the page through cute and colorful animal characters.

Alice Ate an Apple
Written by Anne-Marie Labrecque and illustrated by Mathieu Dionne St-Arneault
This book introduces the alphabet to young readers in a variety of ways. The beginning of the book explains how the letters of the alphabet each have a name, a sound, and different forms (uppercase, lowercase, and cursive). This brightly colored board book introduces the concept of mindfulness through the letters of the alphabet. Each letter is paired with a simple word that is illustrated in the cute cartoon illustrations. The rhyming text flows throughout the book, making this a soothing book to read aloud. The book ends with a calming statement, and simple instructions for mindfulness activities.

Written and illustrated by Bonnie Lui
This colorful exploration of feelings pairs the letters of the alphabet with all kinds of emotions, ranging from Anxious to Zany. Each letter is highlighted with a simple sentence pairing the letter and emotion, and a sentence defining the emotion. Kids will enjoy the colorful illustrations showing a diverse cast of kids experiencing the emotions through situations that they will recognize. E is for Environment: The ABCs of Conservation

This informational alphabet book explores the concept of conservation through 26 vocabulary words paired with the letters of the alphabet. Each letter is highlighted through a different word, which is defined on the page and illustrated in the detailed images.
