What kid doesn’t love dinosaurs? There are lots of adorable children’s books about dinosaurs, and we are always happy to add to our collection! So we wanted to share some of our favorite new kids books about dinosaurs with all of you.

One-osaurus, Two-osaurus
Written by Kim Norman and illustrated by Pierre Collet-Derby
This fun rhyming book follows a group of happy dinosaurs as they play hide and seek. The sing song text counts up to ten, while the illustrations feature brightly colored dinosaurs running and hiding around large block numbers. Kids will love the adorable dinosaur characters, as well as singing and counting along with the text.

Some Dinosaurs are Small

In this cute book, kids are introduced to the concept of size, as well as the different types of dinosaurs and how they relate to one another. The text and the illustrations work together to illustrate the vast differences in size for dinosaurs, and show what they eat. But the cute twist ending shows the little dinosaur being saved by his gigantic, loving mama dinosaur. Kids will love the adorable ending, and exploring the different types of dinosaurs that co-existed.
T. Rex Time Machine: Dinos in De-Nile

In this sweet story, a dinosaur named Tyrone has a dream. All the other dinosaurs in his life have big ideas of what he should be, but Tyrone just wants to dance. When he meets a giant dinosaur named Brontorina who attends a dance school for girls, boys, dinosaurs, and cows, he realizes he may be able to live out his dreams after all. Kids will love the silly illustrations, especially when the dinosaurs and cows start dancing. And parents will appreciate the positive message about following your dreams, no matter how far fetched.

Do You Know? Dinosaurs and the Prehistoric World
